Cancellation Policy
We look after busy Londoners, and we know life can get in the way! We’ve made sure our cancellation policy is as flexible as possible, while ensuring clinical time is used for patients who need us.
GP appointments & blood tests:
Blood tests and GP appointments can be easily cancelled via the cancellation link on your email confirmation or SMS message.
There are no cancellation fees, as we understand plans can change, but we do ask that you cancel rather than “no show”. No shows cause disruption and limit access for other patients, so we always appreciate your consideration in this matter.
Visa & employment medicals:
There are no cancellation fees for visa and employment medicals. These services are very popular, and patients often need them at short notice, so please give as much notice as possible of any appointment changes to give other patients the opportunity.
Health screenings:
The only service we require a deposit for is our Wellperson health screenings, as they take 2 hours of clinical time.
A £100 deposit is required to secure your appointment and must be given 24 hours’ notice of cancellation; otherwise, the deposit will be lost.
You can cancel or rearrange by emailing us or calling us. Insured patients are not required to pay a deposit, but we ask for as much notice of cancellations as possible.
Why cancelling matters
Cancelling a medical appointment when you can’t attend is a simple but vital courtesy that benefits everyone involved. Healthcare professionals plan their day around scheduled patients, reviewing notes, preparing equipment, and reserving time that could otherwise be used to see someone in need. When a patient fails to show up without notice, valuable time is lost, and another patient may miss an earlier appointment.
Cancellations also help you stay in control of your own health. By informing the clinic in advance, you can easily reschedule and avoid long gaps in your care or delays in important investigations. It also prevents misunderstandings or future fees for missed appointments.
For healthcare teams, every cancellation notice matters. It allows reception staff to offer that slot to another patient, keeps waiting lists shorter, and supports the smooth running of the practice.
Ultimately, taking a moment to cancel when you can’t attend is a sign of consideration for your clinicians, other patients, and the healthcare system as a whole.
A brief phone call or message ensures time and care are never wasted, and everyone benefits.
