Medical Team

Dr Mohammad Mohseyni

Senior General practitioner

Dr Mohseyni Qualified as a physician in 1994. He finished his training as a paediatrician in 1997 but decided to pursue a career in general practice and has been working in the NHS for the past 20 years. His special interest is in chronic disease management, women’s health and family planning.

His outside interests include badminton, walking, travelling, and cooking.

Dr Heather Craig

General Practitioner

Dr Heather Craig grew up in Canada, where she completed her BSc. and MD. She pursued Family Medicine training in Edmonton, Canada, obtaining her CCFP in 2017. She then worked as a general family physician with a focus on women’s health and rural low-risk obstetrics until her relocation to the UK in 2021.

Dr Craig values collaborative decision-making and trauma-informed care.

Dr Oluwaseyi Kayode

Medical Associate

Dr Kayode supports us primarily by delivering great care in our visa and employment medical department. He trained as a medical doctor in Nigeria, bringing over 14 years of experience in clinical medicine, preventative health, health management and public health.

He came to the UK in 2020 to pursue a postgraduate Masters’s degree in Public Health at the University of East London, where he is also a part-time lecturer after finishing as overall best in the 2020/2021 PH Masters’s programme and winning an Award for Best Academic Achievement.

Alya Shakir

Chief Executive Officer

Alya has been responsible for the growth of the clinics, overseeing their expansion and development and creating policies and procedures to ensure optimum patient care and experience.

Alya is the registered manager with the Care Quality Commission and leads on our UKAS accreditation.

Alena Mareckova

Chief Operating Officer

Alena has worked with our team since September 2011. She became the Practice Manager of our City branch in 2013. While working with us, Alena completed her degree in Business Administration.

Over the last few years, she has developed a wealth of experience in all aspects of practice management and was promoted to the position of Executive Manager for both our clinics in October 2019.

Hannah Thaine

Patient Liaison Officer

Hannah joined us in 2023 as a patient liaison officer following gaining experience in the NHS. She supports patients with their appointments, enquiries and after-care needs.

Michaela Afram-Gyening

Patient Liaison Officer

Michaela joined the team in 2022 as a patient liaison officer. She previously gained experienced in an NHS GP service. Michaela works at our receptions supporting patients with booking appointments, processing results and much more.
