Medical assessment for Fiji

The visa application for the Fiji Islands requires a medical assessment form, which must be completed by a FCO-registered doctor no more than three months before your departure.

Our clinics, with decades of experience in providing consulate-approved medicals, can help make the visa application process easier.

Fiji Islands Medicals

A medical examination less than three months old is required by the Fijian Embassy when submitting your application.

The requirements for this medical include:

  • Chest X-ray.
  • Urine test for Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea.
  • Review of current and past medical history.
  • Blood tests for glucose levels, HbA1C, HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and Syphilis.

Why Do I Need Visa Medical?

Fiji’s immigration authorities require certain travellers to provide proof of good health before issuing a visa.

The medical examination helps prevent the spread of infectious diseases and ensures that travellers are fit for their stay.

Short-term tourist visas typically do not require a medical, but itis always best to confirm with Fijian immigration before travelling.
