These screenings provide valuable insights into cholesterol levels, blood sugar, kidney function, and more, allowing healthcare providers to identify and manage risk factors. This proactive approach enables you to make lifestyle adjustments before they escalate.

Total cholesterol tests/fingerprick tests aren’t beneficial because your total cholesterol level is the sum of your “good” and “bad” cholesterol. A high “good” cholesterol level is a positive finding as this is cardioprotective.

It is recommended that you arrive fasting but well-hydrated. Fasting for at least 4-6 hours is advised for certain blood tests, making a morning appointment before breakfast an ideal choice. Alternatively, you can have a light breakfast and fast during the day, scheduling your appointment in the afternoon. Adequate hydration is crucial for safe blood-taking, so please ensure you drink plenty of water before your appointment.
Our Platinum Blood Profile testing consists of straightforward blood tests administered by a skilled and experienced phlebotomist or nurse. They will gently draw blood using a sterile needle, ensuring minimal discomfort and adhering to strict hygiene protocols. Your results from the Platinum Blood Profile will be accessible within 24 hours. Each result undergoes a thorough review by a doctor before being delivered to you. If your results are within normal ranges, you will receive a notification along with your result. In the case of significant abnormalities, a doctor will personally contact you to discuss the findings and provide guidance on recommended next steps. Alternatively, you can choose to share your results with your GP for further consultation and care coordination.
