Got a job in China? Congratulations! You’ll need a work permit and part of that process includes a medical examination and testing. We are here to help you make this process as easy as possible.
Our experienced doctors will examine you and prepare the report required by the Chinese Embassy within 24-48 hours from your visit. Our doctors are registered with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office for quick turnaround once you submit your medical for legalisation.
In the case of abnormal results, our doctors are here to support you and suggest next steps or further testing.
The Chinese visa medical includes:
- Medical examination as required
- Chest X-ray
- Resting ECG
The blood test includes checks for:
- Blood group
- Hepatitis B
- Liver function
What to do next
You will need to bring with you your original passport to prove your identity and a passport size photograph.
Please remember to bring in your passport and a passport photograph to your appointment.During the test
Your doctor will examine you and conduct several tests including a resting electrocardiogram, blood tests, urine tests and a chest x-ray to exclude TB.
To prove your identity, you will need to provide your passport and a passport-sized photgraph. If you do not have your passport available, then your driving licence will be a suitable replacement.
A chest X-ray is part of the requirements. This will be arranged for you right after your examination with the GP in a specialised facility walking distance from the clinic.
The full medical report will be ready for you in 24 hours.
