Visa Medicals > Oman Visa Medical
In February 2023, Oman welcomed 4,989 visitors from the UK.
If you are planning to travel to this beautiful country in 2025 for work, certain visa types do require a visa medical examination.
We offer fast, fully accredited, consulate-approved visa medical examinations tailored to the requirements set by the Omani authorities.
British citizens generally do not require a visa medical for a vacation in Oman if their stay is 14 days or less.
However, if you are applying for an employment visa, a residency permit, or for dependent or family visas (in some cases), then you are typically required to complete a medical examination before entering Oman.
Our clinic, with decades of experience, can help streamline the process with no hidden fees, ensuring you receive the documentation you require in a timely manner.
Oman’s visa medical typically involves a physical examination, blood tests, stool tests, urine tests and a chest X-ray.
This helps ensure that travellers are healthy enough to enter the country and do not carry communicable diseases that could threaten the health of the Omani population.
The most commonly screened communicable diseases to obtain a certificate of good health for visa applications include:
Use our online booking engine or book your appointment by giving us a call.
On the online booking engine select the “appointment type” you need.
You will be seen by one of our friendly doctors or trained clinicians.

Please ensure on the day of your appointment that all your medical requirements and documents are in order. This includes a recent passport photo of yourself, as well as your original passport or driver’s license to confirm your identity.

One of our doctors will perform a comprehensive physical examination. This includes reviewing your medical history as well as checking your current general health. You will also be asked to supply a blood sample (to check for HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Syphilis), a stool sample (to screen for ova, cysts and parasites), and urine sample. You will also be required to undergo a chest X-Ray (to look for signs of a TB infection), all of which is easy to do and typically takes less than a few minutes to complete.

Once your test results have returned from our lab and your medical report has been finalised, you will be notified by our team, and can continue with your visa application.
