Dr Oluwaseyi Kayode

Dr Kayode supports us primarily by delivering great care in our visa and employment medical department. He trained as a medical doctor in Nigeria, bringing over 14 years of experience in clinical medicine, preventative health, health management and public health.

He came to the UK in 2020 to pursue a postgraduate Masters’s degree in Public Health at the University of East London, where he is also a part-time lecturer after finishing as overall best in the 2020/2021 PH Masters’s programme and winning an Award for Best Academic Achievement.

While on his postgraduate programme, being the height of the second wave of the COVID pandemic, he joined the Barts NHS Trust (Royal London Hospital) under the International medical graduate programme as a Medical Support Worker at the Royal London Hospital, working in the Adult Critical Care Unit, COVID ward and subsequently in the Gastroenterology department.

In his spare time, Dr Oluwaseyi Kayode is also a Music Director, songwriter and guitarist in the genres of Soul Music, RnB and Jazz.
