Corporate > Occupational Health Assessments
Occupational health issues can be stressful for everyone involved. We provide a confidential advice line for human resources teams and managers and help you achieve a positive outcome, with no hidden charges.
Our approach to occupational health is different from our competitors. We fully appreciate the importance of ongoing communication with the employer.
Our reports offer the appropriate level of detail to help an employer better understand how best to support their employees in the future through at-work adaptations and any medical recommendations the employee should undertake.
Our top priority is each individual’s health and well-being. We work closely with employers to support their employees’ needs, taking a holistic approach that goes beyond traditional occupational health services.
Our dedicated medical team focuses on comprehensive care, ensuring the best outcomes for both the employee and the organisation.
To get in touch, email via our contact form. Your message will be forwarded to our senior team, who will contact you within 24 hours.
A referral form will be provided to the employer, allowing you to detail the circumstances of the issue and the desired outcomes following the assessment. We will be happy to speak on the phone in advance of that when an issue is particularly sensitive or complex.
An appointment can be scheduled within a week if the matter is urgent.
A report will be drawn up based on the assessment and the doctor’s recommendations. It will be provided to the employee for fact-checking, which is best practice, before being sent to you.
We offer a wide range of services that address both physical and mental health in the workplace:

You will be seen by one of our friendly doctors or trained clinicians.

Our clinic recommends patients wear comfortable clothing suitable for any physical tests (if required). It is also advised to avoid heavy meals, alcohol, or strenuous exercise if requested. Plus, bring a list of medications and relevant medical history.

The occupational health assessment typically begins with a medical history review, which includes gathering information about past medical history, chronic conditions, and any previous surgeries. The review also covers current medications, lifestyle factors such as smoking, alcohol use, and physical activity, as well as any work-related symptoms or limitations the employee may be experiencing. If applicable, a physical examination is conducted, which may include vision and hearing checks, measurement of blood pressure, heart rate, and other general vital signs. A musculoskeletal assessment is also often performed to evaluate strength, flexibility, and posture, and a respiratory assessment may be carried out if the employee is exposed to dust, chemicals, or fumes in the workplace.

Once your results are ready, a written report is usually sent to the employer’s HR/occupational health team. The report may include recommendations for accommodations or adjustments, or a need for follow-up assessments (if any).
