Dr Heather Craig grew up in Canada, where she completed her BSc and MD. She then pursued Family Medicine training in Edmonton, Canada, and obtained her CCFP in 2017. She then worked as a general family physician, focusing on women’s health and rural low-risk obstetrics, until her relocation to the UK in 2021.
Dr Craig values collaborative decision-making and trauma-informed care.
She has a passion for teaching and holds a Clinical Lecturer position at the Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary, Canada. She is currently completing a postgraduate certificate in medical education at Keele University.
In her non-clinical time, Dr Craig enjoys tending to her young family, spending time with friends, singing in local choirs, and travelling.
