Wellman Examinations

Life is busy so we’ve created a Wellman health screening that gives you the opportunity to take control of your health in one visit, with 90 minutes with a doctor and extensive testing, followed by a detailed bespoke report and telephone consultation with your doctor to go over your results. We even throw in a free blood profile within the next 6 months so you can stay on top of any findings.

We know that when you go to the doctor, you want a positive outcome and the right lifestyle advice to move forward with peace of mind.

Silver Wellman – £495

Our Silver Wellman is a great annual health screening to keep on top of key markers such as risk factors for diabetes, heart disease and other illnesses. In addition to a comprehensive physical once-over, the Platinum blood profile looks at everything from signs of anaemia to your liver and kidney function, to your cholesterol breakdown, diabetes status and much more.

What are the most common conditions affecting men?
The major health conditions that affect only men are prostate cancer, prostatitis, testicular cancer, and low testosterone. It is also common for men to experience health problems caused by stress, or sexual issues such as erectile dysfunction or premature ejaculation.
Lifestyle choices can make a huge impact on your long-term health. Things such as healthy diet, regular physical exercise, managing stress, practicing moderation with alcohol and drugs, can all make a difference. It is also important to go for regular medical check-ups, even when nothing is wrong.
Yes, in rare cases men can develop breast cancer, although it is much less common than in women. Symptoms of male breast cancer include changes in the breast tissue or skin texture, the sudden appearance of a lump, or changes in the nipple such as discharge or inversion. Extra tissue around the breasts may be due to gynecomastia.
