Make sure to list all current medications and supplements you are taking. If you need to fast for a blood test, plan accordingly to avoid any issues. Additionally, ensure you get enough rest before your visit and wear comfortable clothing to make the process as smooth as possible.
The examination typically starts with a discussion about your medical history, including family health and lifestyle. The doctor will then perform a physical examination, checking your height, weight, blood pressure, and heart rate. Blood tests will be conducted to assess factors such as complete blood count, cholesterol, liver and kidney function, thyroid levels, and blood sugar.
