UK citizens visiting the Bahamas for tourism or short-term stays (generally up to 3 months) do not require a visa or special medical requirements.
However, you must have a certificate proving you have received a yellow fever vaccination if you are entering the Bahamas from a country listed as a transmission risk.
Additionally, long-term visas also require medicals.
If you are planning to work, study, or live in the Bahamas, your visa medical will typically include a physical examination, blood tests, and a chest X-ray to screen for TB, all with transparent pricing and no hidden fees.
Although not mandatory for entry, it is always recommended that your vaccinations are up to date according to UK standards.
