A typical Japanese visa medical includes a comprehensive medical exam conducted by a UK-licensed doctor, along with a detailed review of your medical history. The examination covers height, weight, BMI, vision, and blood pressure checks. It also includes a chest X-ray for TB screening, with both the digital image and report provided.
A urinalysis is performed, and blood tests are carried out to screen for HIV, Hepatitis B and C, and syphilis (VDRL/TPHA), along with a full blood count and an assessment of liver and kidney function. Additional tests can be arranged if your employer or the Japanese authorities require. We also complete any Japanese medical forms supplied by your sponsor or agency, and we can tailor the examination to meet specific institutional requirements.

When you arrive, a doctor will review your medical history, conduct an examination, and ensure all the required visa criteria are met. All necessary tests, including blood, urine, and x-rays, will be carried out during your visit.
Once lab results are returned (usually within 1–2 working days), we’ll complete and release your medical certificate.
